Featured Work

TutuMucky

Role/Title: Costume Designer
Year of Production Opening: 2017
Venue: Scottish Dance Theatre, performed at Dundee Rep. Touring.
A collaboration between Scottish Dance Theatre and London based choreographer Botis Seva, TutuMucky blurred the boundaries between ballet, contemporary and hiphop dance technique, challenging traditional convention to offer a distinctively innovative form of dance.

The costume design also drew on the traditional tutu and was layered in such a way as to produce multi faceted earthy tones that lit beautifully. The outcome of the design process was simple but extremely effective, aided by a strong team and open minds.
