Jasmine trained at Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. She was a finalist in the Linbury Prize for Stage Design 2017. She was multiple nominated for Best Designer in The Stage Debut Awards 2018, for her designs at: Theatre503, Finborough Theatre and The Arcola. She was Laboratory Associate Designer for Nuffield Southampton Theatres 2017/18

CHUTNEY was a dark comedy about a millennial couple who’s love for one another is fading...until they discover a mutual urge for killing household pets.
Their killing spree starts with a hedgehog-in-a-John-Lewis-blender-moment and escalates from there. They order a crossbow from Amazon and go on hunting trips in the middle of the night to the local park. This spirals into the brutal murder of an elderly neighbour Mrs Sinclair. By the end of the play, their once gleamingly white modern kitchen is stained and tarnished with an oozing dripping blackness. This originates from the knife block and eventually spreads across the stage; The blackness serves as a physical metaphor of their guilt. We achieved this effect using hydrochromic paint, that changes colour when water is applied. There was a water source underneath the knife block that enabled us to pump water out.
