I first moved to London when I was 17 to study. I was educated in theatre design at Wimbledon School of Art.
I went on to study Women’s Wear Fashion at Central St Martins and then begun my career working in theatre. I feel fortunate to have spent the last twenty years meeting incredibly wonderful and talented people that follow their vocation and passion against what very often feel like harsh odds.

This piece is set on a beach which we are currently setting up onstage, there is a 30 metre cinema screen which will feature Will Duke's amazing video designs, we have two casts of 6 fantastic soloists, a chorus of 50 and a group of 105 actors all in three different costumes. Robert Carsen is a master when it comes to directing and getting the best from his performers.

“
Sometimes it feels like the essence of the ideas or the project itself can be reduced to one key word or a sentence. However different the type, scale or location of a project, for me, the key is to engage with my collaborators and the people that work in this industry, from a stage manager to a porter at the stage door. My approach is consistent. Engage.”
